Cooling expansion

With a box van you choose a compact vehicle with which you can maneuver easily and get to your customers without any problems. For the lowest possible fuel consumption and for a low vehicle height, we mount the high-performance and vehicle-specific cooling systems invisibly, in a roof porch or in a trough on the roof. The vehicle height is only slightly changed by the roof front or the tub mounting.
Wenger refrigerated extensions – the perfect transport temperature at all times
The cargo compartment temperature can be easily set in a few simple steps using a control installed in the cockpit of the driver’s cab. Thanks to the display, you always have the interior temperature of your refrigerated truck under control.
Wenger refrigerated bodies consist of solid and CFC-free constructions for fresh food and frozen food transports. The insulation of our refrigerated vehicles, made of closed-pored polyurethane rigid foam panels with a smooth white GRP outer skin, provides perfect cooling. The insulated floor is made of a gray, waterproof and non-slip surface. The right interior refrigeration unit will allow you to achieve the temperature you need for the goods you are transporting.

Wenger refrigerator extensions – Easy to clean for perfect hygiene
Thanks to its GRP outer skin, the interior is easy to clean. The individual GRP moldings are perfectly inserted and absolutely watertight so that no liquid can seep anywhere. Since the smooth, abrasion-resistant surface allows the lining to be cleaned easily and thoroughly, the generally applicable HACCP regulations can be complied with.
The optimal cooling unit
To ensure optimal use of your refrigerated truck, the freezer or fresh food service extension needs the right refrigeration system. For this reason, you will always receive a complete solution from us with a cooling unit tailored to the respective application. So to speak, the tailor-made suit for your needs, individually tailored to the corresponding vehicle. By means of a hot gas heater, your vehicle can be expanded with the ability to raise the interior to a prescribed temperature.

Fresh and frozen
Fresh service for goods in the range from +12°C to +0°C
If you want to transport goods that are to be transported within a temperature range of +0°C and +12°C, a vehicle with a fresh food service equipment is best suited for this purpose.
Deep-freeze for goods in the range from +0°C to -20°C
If you want to transport goods that are to be transported within a temperature range of +0°C to -20°C, a vehicle with a freezer compartment is best suited for this purpose.
Two-zone expansion – for different transport temperatures
All our extensions can be divided into temperature zones. With this variant, different temperatures can be generated in two different compartments. For example, one chamber can be used for deep-freezing and the other as a fresh service area. We would be happy to discuss your requirements for a customized Wenger cooling system.
With a Wenger refrigerated vehicle, your goods always arrive at their destination properly chilled. Because our refrigerated vehicles always represent a perfect interplay of vehicle type, interior fittings as well as refrigeration unit, so that a seamless refrigerated logistics chain is guaranteed. Comply at all times with the regulations specified by the Foodstuffs Ordinance for the international transport, perishable goods, by road to ATP. We will be happy to provide you with a corresponding ATP certificate valid for your vehicle upon request.
Wenger fresh food service refrigerated vehicles are tasteless and easy to clean
A Wenger refrigerated vehicle is easy to clean as well as disinfect thanks to the closed-pored surface of the insulation. Regular cleaning of the interior allows foreign odors originating from the transported goods not to be accepted. Wenger refrigerated vehicles thus comply with the hygiene regulations according to HACCP.

The ideal cooling for companies that occasionally need a cooling option
Wenger coolers are available in 140l, 330l or 915l sizes to fit comfortably in your small vehicle. Choose between cooling from 20 °C to + 0 °C ordeep-freezing from 20 °C to – 21 °C. With a cooler you remain flexible, because you can remove it at any time when you do not need it. You can put our coolers into operation via 12/24 VDC or 110-240 VAC.
Food safe coolers
The coolers they get from us are made of tough, durable polyethylene with an easy-to-clean, food-safe finish. By means of a digital display you have the temperature under control at all times. The coolers can also be supplied with pharmaceutical certificate (GDP compliant).
